↕️ Drag and drop planned activities (see description)#7

Drag and drop planned activities and routines, and automatically re-arrange the times to fit.

If moving plans to earlier, activities and routines keep their duration always, but the app postpone the following plans to later to fit. The app will add plans to earlier if possible to make the schedule fit.

A repeating routine or activity is de-coupled from the repitition - if a user wants a permanent change, open to edit the exact change of plans and save.

Example ⤵️

8-9 (1 h): Morning routine
10-10.30 (30 min): Walk
11-12.00 (1 h): Meeting
12.30-13.00 (30 min): Lunch

Drag and drop action → Meeting (30 min) → moved up before: 10-10.30 (30 min): Walk

New plans:

8-9 (1 h): Morning routine
9-10 (1 h): Meeting
10-10.30 (30 min): Walk
12.30-13.00 (30 min): Lunch

Merged Auto shift time of activities#332

(From another comment in Nolt - see #380): Having to go into every activity to manually adjust the start/end values is a pain, especially if you have activities back to back and you have to manually match the start times of every activity to the end time of the prior one. Google Calendar’s UI has always handled this excellently. Being able to drag and drop events and change their start and end times by simly dragging on the beginning or end of their bounds is extremely quick and intuitive and I’d love to see something similar to that here.

This sounds really helpful! It is difficult for me to plan using the app. I have to plan on paper then enter it into the app because there is no visual of the time available. It would even be helpful just to be able to rearrange things that arent scheduled for a certain time, and have them stay in that spot.

I would like a drag and drop feature as well as stretching or shortening the time length of tasks directly on the screen, and a time marker to be aware of the time it currently is on day or week view.

I discovered an app called shovel that helps with my school assignments because it is integrated with my school platforms although the web version is the best operating. I find my self using it more because the ease of the dragging the events to the adjustable weekly view. Also shows what free time I have too so I benefit from this in knowing my down time and adjusting to allow my time for needed breaks. I’d love a few key features to be possible on here so I could similarly use for my weekly planning set up,I find moving things around to be so simple making the user experience easier.

Hi all - thank you so much for your feedback and insight!

We are also dreaming of a drag and drop feature with the planned activities! So we totally see your points!
In order for us to implement it we have to rewrite a bunch of code, and while we want to do this, we cannot promise when as it has to fit in with the rest of our to dos and plans.

I hope this clears up that we too want this feature, but it takes a chunk of our limited ressources to get there 💚

Hi Laura,
Thanks for the update.
I’ve cancelled my future subscriptions to Tiimo until such time as the necessary features are added in.
It’s an “ok” app at the moment, but without these features it’s never going to be more than “ok” for me and not worth the money

We’re sorry to loose you, but we also understand. Thank you for giving Tiimo a chance, and we hope to welcome you back in the future 💚🌻

Hey! Pitching a soulution here!
Swipe right triggers a vertical timeline and the possibility to drag and drop all planned activities, with no permanent changes for future plans.
Would work well with the streching requested above as well:)

Really hoping something like this can be implemented soon! Essential feature for a adhd time-optimist:))
