Drag and drop planned activities and routines, and automatically re-arrange the times to fit.
If moving plans to earlier, activities and routines keep their duration always, but the app postpone the following plans to later to fit. The app will add plans to earlier if possible to make the schedule fit.
A repeating routine or activity is de-coupled from the repitition - if a user wants a permanent change, open to edit the exact change of plans and save.
Example ⤵️
8-9 (1 h): Morning routine
10-10.30 (30 min): Walk
11-12.00 (1 h): Meeting
12.30-13.00 (30 min): Lunch
Drag and drop action → Meeting (30 min) → moved up before: 10-10.30 (30 min): Walk
New plans:
8-9 (1 h): Morning routine
9-10 (1 h): Meeting
10-10.30 (30 min): Walk
12.30-13.00 (30 min): Lunch
Was just going to suggest this, so glad I’m not alone in wanting this!
(From another comment in Nolt - see #380): Having to go into every activity to manually adjust the start/end values is a pain, especially if you have activities back to back and you have to manually match the start times of every activity to the end time of the prior one. Google Calendar’s UI has always handled this excellently. Being able to drag and drop events and change their start and end times by simly dragging on the beginning or end of their bounds is extremely quick and intuitive and I’d love to see something similar to that here.
I’m shocked to discover that this very obvious and critical feature request has not been completed in three years. At $96 a year per person and I can’t even imagine that you weren’t able to accomplish this. I’m disappointed that I spent hours configuring this out tonight for a one week trial only to find out that functionality that seems so obvious is not available. This is a big disappointment.
They’ve put more of the eggs into IOS it already has the features that we Android users have been asking for ans has for at leat a couple of years. I wont be subscribing again. I got some false promise that they’ve hired new Android developers almost a year ago when i canceled my subscription… but theres been nothing new for a the better part of a year for us so… Yeah. Move on and give up on Tiimo if your not an ios user.
Would be really helpful if this feature also included the ability to “lock” items so they wouldn’t rearrange. Things like meeting and appointments. They would be anchors in the day that everything else would adjust to fit around.
You could choose to lock a synced calendars (like a work calendar or your iCal). All items from locked calendars would not be movable by default. However, you could choose to manually unlock something to move it around in ‘My Day’ as needed.

It would also be great if you could “Auto fill gaps from unplanned task list”. AI could look at your tasks and suggest where they could fit in your day.
You could block off chunks, like working hours to exclude from available gaps to fill. It could be one time blocks offs or it could repeat. In the case of something like work hours, you could individually remove repeating block offs for days like vacations, holidays, PTO, etc.
Seriously disappointed to see this archived. Are you planning some other way to make it easier to update the day’s plans to make it less cumbersome?
Stay tuned 💚 😉
This is in progress, but we archived this just to clarify this is not in the app yet. But stay tuned!
I just subscribed and having to manually change the time for every single post is truly stressfull - contrary to the purpose of this app, I guess - so really hope the drag and drop and arrange function will be implemented soon.
Also it would be nice if the tick-box-function is changed, so that you can un-tick a box - it seems that once you have ticked a box (which happened to me by mistake) you can’t edit the activity and have to delete and add the activity again.
