↕️ Drag and drop planned activities (see description)#7

Drag and drop planned activities and routines, and automatically re-arrange the times to fit.

If moving plans to earlier, activities and routines keep their duration always, but the app postpone the following plans to later to fit. The app will add plans to earlier if possible to make the schedule fit.

A repeating routine or activity is de-coupled from the repitition - if a user wants a permanent change, open to edit the exact change of plans and save.

Example ⤵️

8-9 (1 h): Morning routine
10-10.30 (30 min): Walk
11-12.00 (1 h): Meeting
12.30-13.00 (30 min): Lunch

Drag and drop action → Meeting (30 min) → moved up before: 10-10.30 (30 min): Walk

New plans:

8-9 (1 h): Morning routine
9-10 (1 h): Meeting
10-10.30 (30 min): Walk
12.30-13.00 (30 min): Lunch

Merged Auto shift time of activities#332

(From another comment in Nolt - see #380): Having to go into every activity to manually adjust the start/end values is a pain, especially if you have activities back to back and you have to manually match the start times of every activity to the end time of the prior one. Google Calendar’s UI has always handled this excellently. Being able to drag and drop events and change their start and end times by simly dragging on the beginning or end of their bounds is extremely quick and intuitive and I’d love to see something similar to that here.

At least for the web version this would be very great!

Hello, I noticed that when you rearrange routines (from bottom to 2-3 stacks ahead) the app freezes or some of the tasks disappears.

Also, when you hit save, it automatically closes down. It’s a nice touch but for someone like me who wants to double check everything before actually moving to the next window and has the habit of constantly hitting the save button, this feature kinda is annoying.

This would definitely improve my experience a lot. It would allow flexibility which changing plans and missed start times. : )

This would really help with stress whenever something else happens and I can’t do activities as scheduled. I really hope we see this soon!

Yes I need this. Make it so we can change times and length right from the timeline. Also make a toggle for a fixed time event and a flexible one. So if something comes up and I need to make room in my day it will bump flexible tasks out of the way but it will keep fixed tasks like a doc appointment in the right time. With a warning of tasks overlap.

It is essential and I don’t feel I can use this app without it. :(

Agreed, this is essential, at the moment the app is much harder to use without this, I don’t feel like it’s worth the price without this

This sounds really helpful! It is difficult for me to plan using the app. I have to plan on paper then enter it into the app because there is no visual of the time available. It would even be helpful just to be able to rearrange things that arent scheduled for a certain time, and have them stay in that spot.
