It would be great if there was an option to add a reminder, for example, 3 minutes before the task ends. An option for one reminder like this is enough. ( Not necessary for multiple ones example, 5 min before, 3 min before etc)
Function:
Serves as a quick warning that task is going to end soon and user can assess if extra time is required on the task.
In practice:
Usually users will be pretty absorbed in a task that that they are doing and the task timer is set off before the task is completed. The user has an option to restart the task. But it isn’t very practical. A task estimated to be 30mins that needs an additional 10mins will now be restarted as a 30min timer when reset.
If a notification is sent even just a minute before the task ends the user can evaluate the necessary additional time required and add it to the current running timer.
