Small piece of feedback from daily use.
I keep failing to find Tiimo on my home screen. On my home screen (mobile and desktop) it sits next to a dozen apps that are loud on purpose, and Tiimo is the one I scroll past. I’ve opened the wrong app more than once while looking for it.
I don’t think the issue is the design itself, which I like. It’s that the icon is sitting next to apps that are saturated and high contrast on purpose, so it reads as background next to them.
I assume the muted palette is deliberate and I’m not going to pretend I know the right fix. Just flagging it, because findability seems like it matters more for a planning app than for most. People often reach for this one at the exact moment their focus is worst.
Inside the app you control the environment, and restraint is the correct choice there. The home screen is an environment you don’t control. The icon’s job there is to be found in under a second, surrounded by competitors optimizing hard for exactly that. Those are two different jobs, and right now the icon is doing the first one well and the second one poorly.
