Currently a to-do item (and task) offer only one option - “complete”. Complete drops the item to “done”. My idea is 1) single tap = “in progress” and 2) double tap = “complete”. This is most useful for sub-tasks when not all sub tasks are accomplished sequentially. Coloring the bubble could indicate which stage.
