Show completed tasks as timeline time logs#4330

S

Hi Tiimo team,

I’m a Tiimo subscriber, and I really appreciate the way Tiimo supports task initiation, visual planning, and focus. As an ADHD user, I find the Start task and Focus timer features especially helpful.

However, there is one feature I really wish Tiimo had: completed tasks should be reflected on the timeline as an actual time log.

For example, if I start a task at 2:10 and finish it at 2:45, I’d love Tiimo to show that completed task on the daily timeline as “2:10–2:45,” instead of only moving it to the completed section at the bottom.

For ADHD users, this would be extremely helpful because many of us struggle with time blindness. We often do not have a clear sense of where our time went, how long tasks actually took, or what we realistically managed to complete during the day.

If Tiimo could automatically record:

  • what I worked on during each time block,
  • how long each task actually took,
  • whether the task was completed or not,

then the timeline would become much more than a planning tool. It would also become a reflection tool.

At the end of the day, I could look back and understand what I actually did, where my time went, which tasks took longer than expected, and how I might improve my time use in the future.

This would be especially valuable for ADHD users because it would help turn vague, invisible time into something visible and reviewable. It would not just help us plan the day; it would help us learn from the day.

I understand that keeping completed tasks on the timeline might create visual clutter for some users. But perhaps this could be optional, or shown as collapsed “completed time blocks” on the timeline. That way, users who want a cleaner interface could hide them, while users who need a record of their actual day could keep them visible.

For me, this feature would make Tiimo much more useful as a full ADHD time-management tool, not just a visual planner.

Thank you for considering this feedback.
