On my wishlist for this feature is the option to track different moods during the day, as it fluctuates a lot and doesn’t exactly stay stable all throughout one day.

I also want the ability to add my own moods as they vary greatly in what kind of mood they are. Like giving them distinct personal names.

It’s standard to have five mood stages, but I find that moods and emotions are way more complicated than that and several can appear at the same time. I can be both happy and sad at the same time if I’m feeling nostalgic for example. Or agitated while motivated if I’m in hyperfocus. I don’t really feel moods to be on a linear line, but more like a spectrum much like the autistic one. It would be awesome to see a new unique way of tracking moods in this kind of way. Maybe choose our own color coding system?

I know a lot of neurodivergents can struggle with alexythymia, so this could be something to have in mind. Although I don’t doubt you’ve already thought about that.

Writing notes or journaling alongside the moods would be a helpful tool for analyzing what could influence a mood. How does activities and routines correlate with our moods? Are there patterns to be recognised?

I know this is a lengthy wishlist, but I just wanted to share my thoughts on what I truly want to see from this feature and what would be important and impactful to improving life quality.

Looking forward to this coming to Tiimo! 💚

It would be awesome to have a color-coded emotions wheel that combines basic emotions’ colors and generates new colors and patterns to describe complex moods. I think it would help with alexythimia because for some it comes easier to feel and relate to visuals than naming emotions!

It would be dope to have a feelings-wheel where you can choose one word per day! That could also make you more aware of how you are really feeling

Thank you all for your feedback! We appreciate your insights about this feature. It’s a tricky one to implement because it has so many sides and possiblities. We also do not want the app to become too complex, so it’s a balance we’re attempting to find.

Best,

What about Mood/Symptom/Medication tracking?
I’d love to be able to input Medication instructions in a setting that will then be automatically represented on my daily schedule/overview (not in a way that would affect/interfere with event/task scheduling) but so that I can see where/what I’ll be doing about that time so I know when I’d need to bring and which medication I’d need to bring it with me throughout the day.

I actually don’t find mood tracking helpful, so I would to have an option to turn on or off the feature in the app. If possible 😁

I think in order for this to be implemented without making the app too complex, the user should be asked for their mood in the ‘Day Review’. Then, the algorithm could compare the user’s mood trends to what reoccurring tasks were/weren’t completed, what ratio of tasks were checked done, and how much time was spent in ‘Right Now’… Over time, insights can be provided like, “We noticed that you tend to end your day feeling down when you skip your morning routine”. In addition to random tasks, comparing moods to habits & routines will even be more beneficial for users, so a formal way to track habits (i.e., Streaks app) is probably essential for the moods feature to be useful.
