Hi hi..
This is enhancement important to me. I’m wanting to be using notes quite often (I changed the name of my notes to UP NEXT – and I would like them to be sync’d to my iPad and iPhone devices (same account) with a one year subscription.
In my ideal workflow, I would then, when I’m ready, turn these Notes into Activities, usually errands or tasks to be performed on a particular day, and I don’t think I would leave them without a time attached because I wouldn’t want it to lapse into yesterday without not being done, and I haven’t got the capability of marking it as “completed” yet..
Thanks! :)

I’ll add in on this, to also tell others the workaround I use.

What I’d like it to look like:

In the NOTES section, a) have this section sync across platforms (including web), and include an option in the Notes area to manually trigger that sync (this gives some of us a little more confidence, even if it’s not strictly necessary). You could limit the number of manual syncs daily, to, say 100 from an account, if you were concerned about DDOS attacks.

Have the ability to right-swipe to turn a note into an activity. If the default can’t be user-set, set it to put the activity in my library, and I’ll flesh it out later. Left-swipe can do something else. I was going to suggest delete, but ticking the checkbox effectively does the same thing. Maybe pushes the note to the top/bottom of the list? This allows a user to do a quick semi-sort.

What I’ve done:

I’ve changed the NOTES title to INBOX - maybe a semantic thing between US English and others, but “notes” can sometimes be very long. It’s also kind of a standard in the GTD (“getting things done”) universe - a heap of incoming stuff that you process/sort on a regular basis, when you can focus.

My workaround with Tiimo is to, when I process my inbox, is to put all of the Notes into a platform-shareable document (I use an Evernote page, but it can really be anything like that). I then turn that into individual activities in Tiimo, or, as according to GTD, if something will take less than 2-3 minutes I just knock it out.

Yes, please make sure notes can sync across devices. I use tiimo on different devices and constantly capture thoughts and to dos in notes. If I move to another device they are forgotten. Thanks appreciate all you are doing 👏🏼

Yes, I just spent a chunk of time retyping all my notes from screenshots because I had to delete and reinstall the app due to a bug.

^^^ this is important (having to recover local state after delete/reinstall). Having even an option to export notes (even a Select All -> Paste thing would be good)) would prevent this. Worst case, I’d set up a recurring activity to remind me to do this, but the more automation the better.
